On 21st April, 2025 the mid-year meeting of the African Regional Group of the IAJ started in Casablanca (Morocco) with the opening ceremony. During this event the President of the African Group Ms. Marcelle Kouassi and the Secretary-General of the IAJ Mr. Giacomo Oberto took the floor, as well as the Chief Justice of Morocco, the Prosecutor General of the Country, as well as the President of the Amicale Hassania des Magistrats du Maroc.
On 22nd April the meeting of the Group took place under the Presidency of Ms. Kouassi and with the attendance of Secretary-General Giacomo Oberto, Deputy Secretary-General Raffaele Gargiulo and the delegates of 15 African Member Associations and 2 observers, Nigeria and Sudan.
