IAJ Statement on the criminal proceedings against Anas Hmedi (Tunisia)

The IAJ expresses serious concern over the ongoing criminal proceedings against Anas Hmedi, President of the Tunisian Judges’ Association (AMT) and stresses that leaders of judicial associations must be able to perform their representative duties without intimidation, retaliation, or criminal prosecution.
